Three Pokhara nights with one local sightseeing day and one flexible outing day. This package starts and ends in Pokhara; it does not hide a Kathmandu or India transfer inside the price.

Sarangkot is a hill destination above Pokhara, known for its outlook towards the Annapurna mountains and the valley.+
Sarangkot is a hill destination above Pokhara, known for its outlook towards the Annapurna mountains and the valley. The main reason to go is the changing light rather than a long list of monuments. Choose a suitable viewing location and leave time to watch instead of arriving, taking a picture and immediately returning.
A sunrise excursion and an adventure activity are separate bookings. Do not assume a viewpoint transfer includes paragliding, a cable-car ticket, a guide or an activity transfer. Ask for the exact service you want, particularly when different members of the family have different interests.

A suggested sunrise visit from Pokhara
Stay in Pokhara the previous night and agree the pickup point before going to bed.+
Stay in Pokhara the previous night and agree the pickup point before going to bed. Work backward from the sunrise time for your actual date; the departure is not the same throughout the year. Bring a layer for waiting outside, keep a torch or phone light accessible and clarify the last stretch of walking from the drop.
After the view, return for breakfast or agree a later breakfast with the hotel in advance. Keep the rest of the morning light if you have a long road transfer ahead. A separate Pokhara sightseeing day gives more flexibility than attempting sunrise, several attractions and the Kathmandu transfer on the same day.

Road access, vehicles and walking
Tell us the vehicle size and the mobility needs of your group.+
Tell us the vehicle size and the mobility needs of your group. A through Tempo Traveller itinerary does not establish that the same vehicle can reach every viewpoint or parking area. The driver must assess the current route and stopping arrangements; a smaller local vehicle may need to be quoted separately.
Confirm where you will be dropped and whether steps or an uphill approach remain. Do not agree only to the word “Sarangkot” on a quotation: ask what the transfer covers, how waiting is handled and what happens if the weather is unsuitable.

Best time and a sensible weather plan
Autumn and spring are common seasons to consider for a Nepal mountain-view itinerary, but no season guarantees a clear sunrise.+
Autumn and spring are common seasons to consider for a Nepal mountain-view itinerary, but no season guarantees a clear sunrise. Cloud, haze and local conditions can conceal the mountains even when the day is otherwise pleasant. If the view is your priority, keep more than one morning in Pokhara rather than relying on a single fixed opportunity.
Ask about cancellation or rescheduling before paying for a separate excursion. If conditions are poor, a slower breakfast and another Pokhara activity can be a better use of the morning than treating a photograph as a promise.

Put Sarangkot into a workable route
Share arrival details, available nights, adults, child ages and walking needs. Ask for a written breakdown of accommodation, transport, meals, optional visits and payment terms.
Is Sarangkot included in the fixed Nepal group departure?
No. The published group itinerary does not promise Sarangkot. Ask about a separately agreed private excursion without disrupting the group programme.
Can our Tempo Traveller go directly to the viewpoint?
The current road, parking, vehicle dimensions and chosen viewpoint must be checked. A local transfer and some walking may be needed.
Is the sunrise view guaranteed?
No. Mountain visibility depends on weather and haze. A flexible Pokhara stay gives you more options.
Booking, payments & cancellation
Check your final route, service scope, rooming and payment schedule in the written quotation before payment. A destination enquiry does not reserve a room, vehicle or activity.
