How to read this route before booking

Read the overnight sequence alongside the day-wise plan. A city appearing in the route may be a visit or transfer stop rather than an additional hotel night. The detailed itinerary explains what is scheduled on each day.

Share your arrival and onward departure times before confirming. Ask which visits remain practical around your connections, where the vehicle drops you and whether local shuttles, guides or activities cost extra.

PRICES FOR YOUR GROUP

Package charges by group size

Published seat prices: ₹11,999 per person on triple sharing; ₹14,500 on double sharing. These examples do not create a discounted private departure.

Summary itinerary

THE JOURNEY, DAY BY DAY

Your detailed itinerary

Open a day for the plan, overnight stop, meals and relevant place notes.

DAY1Gorakhpur · Lumbini · ChitwanChitwan · Overnight stop

Meet at the confirmed Gorakhpur pickup point early in the morning. Keep your original travel documents in your day bag for Sunauli. After the crossing, visit the Sacred Garden at Lumbini, with Maya Devi Temple and the Ashoka Pillar in the same complex. Continue to Chitwan. A riverside walk is possible only if daylight and arrival time allow; dinner and rest take priority.

STAYChitwanMEALSDinner

Place previews help you plan. Only visits expressly stated in your confirmed itinerary are included.

DAY2Chitwan · PokharaPokhara · Overnight stop

After breakfast, take a short Sauraha village or riverside walk if time permits, then leave for Pokhara. This is a transfer day with comfort and lunch stops, not a full Chitwan safari day. Check in and use the evening for a walk along Phewa Lake, a café or time on your own.

STAYPokharaMEALSBreakfast + dinner
DAY3A full day in PokharaPokhara · Overnight stop

Visit Devi’s Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave; the cave has steps and can be slippery. Leave the afternoon for Lakeside. A boat ride to Tal Barahi Temple is optional and paid separately. Planned portraits and group photographs depend on weather and site permissions. Sarangkot, Pumdikot and adventure activities are not promised as part of this departure.

DAY4Pokhara · KathmanduKathmandu · Overnight stop

Reserve the day for the road journey to Kathmandu, with meal and comfort breaks. Roadworks and traffic can change the arrival time considerably. After check-in, have dinner and hear the following day’s plan. There is no compulsory arrival-evening sightseeing, so a delayed journey does not turn into a rushed city tour.

STAYKathmanduMEALSBreakfast + dinner
DAY5Kathmandu’s sacred placesKathmandu · Overnight stop

Visit Pashupatinath subject to temple entry rules and darshan queues, followed by Boudhanath. After lunch, continue to Swayambhunath; discuss steps and walking requirements with the guide. Spend any remaining time in Thamel, meeting the group again at the agreed pickup point. Entry fees and local shuttles are extra.

DAY6Kathmandu · GorakhpurTour ends · Departure day

Leave early for the long drive back through Sunauli. Breakfast timing or a packed breakfast is coordinated with the hotel. Border processing, road conditions and traffic determine arrival. Do not book a tight same-evening train or flight; an overnight stay in Gorakhpur is the safer planning option. The trip finishes at the confirmed drop point.

What to ask about accommodation before payment

Request hotel names or the agreed selection basis, room category, occupancy, meal count and any extra-bed charge. Check whether early check-in, late checkout, heating or air-conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi are included where you need them. Facilities vary by property and overnight location.

For a family, list adults and child ages with the rooms you require. For friends, choose twin, double or triple arrangements explicitly. A room photograph alone does not establish the allocated category, view or number of beds.

What to ask about the vehicle and access

Confirm passenger seating, luggage space, the pickup and final drop, operating hours and sightseeing scope. A through vehicle may stop at a parking area rather than a temple entrance, old-city lane or hill viewpoint. Ask whether the last section requires walking, a local shuttle or a different vehicle.

Keep optional outings separate from the base programme. A new stop can add waiting, distance, tickets or an overnight change. Request an updated route and total price rather than relying on a verbal addition to the original itinerary.

About your departure place

Gorakhpur · arrival, pickup and onward travel

Gorakhpur is the joining point for the published Nepal group and the starting point for the Nepal road proposals shown here. The meeting point is confirmed with your booking; a rail or airport arrival is not automatically the group pickup. Leave time to collect luggage, reach the meeting point and deal with a delayed incoming connection. An arrival night can be added separately where needed.

Keep the pickup contact and written meeting instructions accessible. Tell the desk about changes to your arrival. Read the practical planning guide →

About the places you’ll visit

Maya Devi Temple, LumbiniLumbiniPlace guide & practical planning+

Lumbini is a pilgrimage destination with a clear purpose: the birthplace of the Buddha. The Maya Devi sacred area and Ashoka pillar give the visit its historical focus, while the wider monastic landscape invites a slower pace. It can feature in a Nepal holiday or a dedicated India–Nepal Buddhist circuit, but those two visits need different amounts of time.

Explore Lumbini →
One-horned rhino in the grasslands of Chitwan, NepalChitwanPlace guide & practical planning+

Chitwan brings the lowland landscape into a Nepal holiday. The decision is not simply whether to put Chitwan on the route, but whether you have time for the activity you are visiting for. A short stay near Sauraha can provide a quieter evening; a wildlife-focused visit needs a planned activity window and an honest account of the extra costs.

Explore Chitwan →
The Annapurna range from PokharaPokharaPlace guide & practical planning+

Pokhara suits travellers who want some space in their Nepal itinerary: time beside Phewa Lake, a less hurried evening and a choice between sightseeing and outdoor activities. It is a useful base for a family holiday, a couple's trip or a longer journey towards the Annapurna region. A lake view and a mountain view are different promises; mountain visibility always depends on the weather.

Explore Pokhara →
Swayambhunath stupa in KathmanduKathmanduPlace guide & practical planning+

Kathmandu is the part of a Nepal road trip where the journey changes pace: courtyards, busy streets, temple queues and living neighbourhoods take over from the highway. Choose it for heritage and pilgrimage, particularly when Pashupatinath is central to your plans. It works best with a full sightseeing day between arrival and departure rather than a quick overnight stop.

Tour details & practical planning

01

Choose this departure if the shared programme fits you

The value of this tour is a single agreed date and a shared six-day plan, rather than the freedom to change the route each morning.

The value of this tour is a single agreed date and a shared six-day plan, rather than the freedom to change the route each morning. Lumbini is visited en route, Chitwan is a one-night stop and the two-night stays in Pokhara and Kathmandu provide the principal sightseeing days. Check that this balance fits your holiday before choosing the room fare.

If you want a safari-centred Chitwan stay, extra time in Pokhara or a mountain pilgrimage, ask about a private route instead. Joining from another city does not change the included Gorakhpur pickup. For the same programme with more room privacy, compare the double-sharing option rather than changing the whole itinerary.

02

28 November–3 December 2026, Gorakhpur to Gorakhpur.

28 November–3 December 2026, Gorakhpur to Gorakhpur. One night in Chitwan, two in Pokhara and two in Kathmandu. Lumbini is a first-day visit, not an overnight stop. The vehicle is selected for the final group size. Availability and the group operating requirement are confirmed before payment.

03

For solo travellers, friends and couples

Join on your own and request same-gender room matching, or book with your friends.

Join on your own and request same-gender room matching, or book with your friends. Triple sharing means three guests in one room; the third bed may be an extra bed or mattress. Double sharing means two guests in one room. Hotel names and bedding arrangements are shared in the booking summary.

This is an active road holiday with long transfer days. It is not suitable for someone expecting to spend every day sightseeing at a gentle pace. Tell the team about mobility requirements and ask about the walking involved at caves, stupas and temple sites.

04

Hotels, meals and the road

The departure document specifies 2-star or similar hotels, subject to availability—not a blanket 3-star promise.

The departure document specifies 2-star or similar hotels, subject to availability—not a blanket 3-star promise. Five breakfasts and five dinners are included. Lunches are paid individually. Early check-in, room service and special diets are not automatically included.

AC group transport covers the scheduled route. Air-conditioning may be switched off on steep sections where required for vehicle operation. Fuel, tolls, scheduled parking, driver allowance and required vehicle border permits are included. Local attraction shuttles are extra.

05

Photography without making promises about the weather

06

Before paying the advance

Confirm room sharing, the operating group requirement, reporting point and time, hotel list and any applicable taxes.

Confirm room sharing, the operating group requirement, reporting point and time, hotel list and any applicable taxes. The documented payment schedule is 50% advance and the balance on departure day before the vehicle leaves. Written confirmation follows payment receipt; asking about availability is not a booking.

07

Room sharing: settle the practical details first

The ₹11,999 rate is per person on triple sharing; double sharing is ₹14,500 per person.

The ₹11,999 rate is per person on triple sharing; double sharing is ₹14,500 per person.

Three people sharing a room should confirm the bedding layout and whether the third bed is an extra bed or mattress. Couples choosing double sharing should ask whether a double bed or twin beds can be arranged. Room requests remain subject to the written confirmation; a preferred layout should not be assumed from the sharing label alone.

If travelling alone, discuss roommate matching before sending an advance. Explain any essential sharing preference, and ask what happens if a suitable match is unavailable. Keep the agreed room basis in your booking record so there is no surprise at check-in.

08

Use free time without losing the group schedule

Check the meeting point and next departure time before leaving for an independent walk or meal.

Check the meeting point and next departure time before leaving for an independent walk or meal.

In Pokhara, an evening near the lake can be enjoyed without adding another long transfer. In Kathmandu, an independent visit across the city may take more time than it appears to on a map. Tell the coordinator if you plan an optional activity and check that it fits the group schedule.

Optional tickets, boating, personal shopping and meals outside the included meal plan are not automatically part of the package. Ask about the arrangement for guests who prefer to rest. Keep the coordinator’s contact and your hotel address available offline during independent time.

09

What the six days feel like

This departure combines a long road journey with stays in three Nepal bases.

This departure combines a long road journey with stays in three Nepal bases. The first and final days are primarily travel days. The middle of the programme gives you a full day in Pokhara and a full day in Kathmandu, with the Chitwan stop providing a shorter riverside introduction rather than a full wildlife holiday.

Choose it if you want the announced route and are comfortable moving with the same group. It is less suitable if you expect to decide each morning which city to visit, spend several days on safari or add Muktinath without changing the length of the trip. Read the itinerary as a sequence of travel days and overnight stays; the destination count alone does not describe the pace.

10

Your first morning in Gorakhpur

Share your incoming train or flight details before booking that connection.

Share your incoming train or flight details before booking that connection. The reporting point and time will be confirmed by the desk; being somewhere in Gorakhpur is not the same as being ready at the meeting point. Allow time to collect bags, eat if needed and meet the group. Day 1 breakfast is excluded from the published package.

Pack original travel documents in your day bag and keep essential personal items with you during the drive. If your arrival leaves little margin, discuss an overnight stay in Gorakhpur. That night and the journey to the city are outside the package unless separately included in writing. A delayed individual connection does not automatically move the shared departure.

11

Optional activities without surprises

Before paying for boating, an entry ticket or a local activity, ask whether it fits the day’s group schedule and how you will return to the meeting point.

Before paying for boating, an entry ticket or a local activity, ask whether it fits the day’s group schedule and how you will return to the meeting point. In Chitwan, do not treat a short overnight stop as a promise of safari availability. In Pokhara, an optional excursion cannot take the shared vehicle away from the published plan without agreement.

Guests who prefer to rest should ask about a suitable waiting place and the next meeting time. Optional spending can vary considerably between travellers. Keep a separate allowance for lunches, tickets, local shuttles, personal purchases and other excluded services rather than assuming the headline package fare is the entire travel budget.

12

What to keep with your confirmation

Keep the written itinerary, room basis, payment acknowledgement, cancellation schedule and meeting instructions together.

Keep the written itinerary, room basis, payment acknowledgement, cancellation schedule and meeting instructions together. Ask for the hotel list and bedding arrangement before treating a room preference as confirmed. The five hotel nights are split between Chitwan, Pokhara and Kathmandu; the exact properties are not represented here as pre-confirmed for every enquiry.

Before the return journey, check the final drop location and your onward plan. Road conditions and the border affect arrival time. A flexible connection or a buffer night is more practical than a ticket that depends on the vehicle reaching Gorakhpur at a precise hour. Tell the desk about any connection you intend to protect before paying.

Your booking questions, answered

Is a Chitwan safari included?

No. This one-night stop allows a riverside or village introduction if timing permits. Jeep/canoe safaris and park fees are excluded; a safari is not guaranteed in this short stay.

Can I join from Lucknow?

The included pickup and drop are Gorakhpur only. Ask separately about reaching the joining point from Lucknow.

Can I book a return train on 3 December?

Avoid a tight same-evening connection. The Kathmandu–Gorakhpur drive is long, with uncertain traffic and border time. Consider a Gorakhpur overnight stay.

What if my roommate cannot be matched?

The sharing arrangement must be agreed before payment. A single-room supplement is separately quoted, not added without your agreement.

Are hotels confirmed already?

The category and night split are stated, but specific hotel names and bedding are confirmed in your booking summary.

Is the departure guaranteed?

The tour operates subject to the disclosed group requirement. Ask the desk for its current status and availability before paying.

Is this a confirmed fixed departure?

The published group dates are 28 November–3 December 2026. Ask the desk to confirm availability and the operating group requirement before paying.

How are charges calculated for different group sizes?

For this departure, the published per-person rate depends on room sharing. The totals shown below are arithmetic examples, not private-group discounts.

Are entry tickets and optional activities included?

Check the inclusions and exclusions on this page and the accepted booking summary. An itinerary mention does not by itself include the ticket, local shuttle or activity charge.

What should I confirm about rooms?

Ask for hotel names or the agreed selection basis, each night, double or twin bedding, extra-bed arrangements and any child or single-room supplement.

How do I request changes or cancel?

Contact the desk in writing and retain acknowledgement. The fixed Nepal departure has the schedule below; private bookings use the cancellation and supplier conditions supplied before payment.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Send dates, departure city, adults and children with ages, room preference and the places that matter most. Mention luggage or practical assistance needs; do not put passport numbers or identity scans in the website form.
