Your nights, stops & travel days
How to read this route before booking
Read the overnight sequence alongside the day-wise plan. A city appearing in the route may be a visit or transfer stop rather than an additional hotel night. The detailed itinerary explains what is scheduled on each day.
Share your arrival and onward departure times before confirming. Ask which visits remain practical around your connections, where the vehicle drops you and whether local shuttles, guides or activities cost extra.
Package charges by group size
Private fares are quoted for your actual dates and party. The table shows the information needed to price each size; no unverified fare is presented as available.
| Travellers | Package total | Quote considerations |
|---|---|---|
| 2 guests | Request quotation | Private vehicle, luggage and room occupancy |
| 4 guests | Request quotation | Private vehicle, luggage and room occupancy |
| 6 guests | Request quotation | Private vehicle, luggage and room occupancy |
| 8 guests | Request quotation | Vehicle capacity, rooming list and group coordination |
| 10 guests | Request quotation | Vehicle capacity, rooming list and group coordination |
| 12 guests | Request quotation | Vehicle capacity, rooming list and group coordination |
| 16 guests | Request quotation | Vehicle capacity, rooming list and group coordination |
Ask for both the total payable and the per-person equivalent, currency, quote validity and applicable taxes. Child ages, extra beds, single rooms, guide language and mountain vehicle changes can alter the amount. No automatic group discount is assumed.

What to ask about accommodation before payment
Request hotel names or the agreed selection basis, room category, occupancy, meal count and any extra-bed charge. Check whether early check-in, late checkout, heating or air-conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi are included where you need them. Facilities vary by property and overnight location.
For a family, list adults and child ages with the rooms you require. For friends, choose twin, double or triple arrangements explicitly. A room photograph alone does not establish the allocated category, view or number of beds.
What to ask about the vehicle and access
Confirm passenger seating, luggage space, the pickup and final drop, operating hours and sightseeing scope. A through vehicle may stop at a parking area rather than a temple entrance, old-city lane or hill viewpoint. Ask whether the last section requires walking, a local shuttle or a different vehicle.
Keep optional outings separate from the base programme. A new stop can add waiting, distance, tickets or an overnight change. Request an updated route and total price rather than relying on a verbal addition to the original itinerary.

This is a private proposal. Final inclusions and charges must be confirmed in your written quotation.

The three-day route starts and ends at Gorakhpur, with two Lumbini nights and no Pokhara or Kathmandu extension. Cross through Sunauli on Day 1 and return through the same border on Day 3. The middle day protects visiting time if the arrival-day Sacred Garden visit is delayed.
04Make the sightseeing time useful
The Maya Devi precinct and sacred pond form one visiting area; selected monasteries and the Baby Buddha area give the full day a different focus.
The Maya Devi precinct and sacred pond form one visiting area; selected monasteries and the Baby Buddha area give the full day a different focus. Choose time for worship or interpretation before increasing the monastery count. Bring comfortable footwear for the distances inside the complex and confirm any local vehicle or cycle arrangement.
05Gorakhpur pickup, the border and your return
Choose an arrival night in Gorakhpur when your train or flight reaches after the workable road departure.
Choose an arrival night in Gorakhpur when your train or flight reaches after the workable road departure. The itinerary begins at the agreed pickup, not automatically at every railway platform, hotel or airport. Share luggage and rooming details so the vehicle can be selected for the actual party.
Indian and foreign travellers have different Nepal entry-document requirements. Check the current official guidance for every nationality in your group. On the final day, leave a buffer after the border before any onward rail or air ticket. A guaranteed connection cannot be inferred from the package duration.
06Walking inside Lumbini and choosing the hotel
The monastic complex covers a large area.
The monastic complex covers a large area. Keep the Sacred Garden visit and the monastery selection purposeful, with time for rest, water and worship. A private through vehicle does not imply access to every inner path. Ask about local transfers, any cycle hire, walking distances and luggage storage.
Select a hotel for its location, room layout and meal arrangements rather than a destination photograph. Two Lumbini nights leave the middle day free from intercity travel. Private hotel category, breakfast and dinner counts, guide language and any assistance are written into your quotation.

Yes. This route stays in the Lumbini area for two nights and returns to Gorakhpur. It does not include the Pokhara or Kathmandu road stages.
Can we add Kushinagar or Shravasti?
Ask for the existing five-day regional pilgrimage or a revised quotation. Those places need their own road and visiting time.
